Their goal wasn’t awareness or vanity metrics. It was to start real conversations with the right investors and strategic partners and convert those conversations into booked meetings within a fixed fundraising window.
Campaign execution ran from April 5, 2023 to June 15, 2023.

The Challenge
Before working with Prospects Hive, outbound activity showed early signs of traction, but it wasn’t producing outcomes that mattered to the business.
The main challenges were:
- Opens and replies were decent, but meetings were inconsistent
- No clear system to qualify conversations and move them to calendar
- Limited visibility into which conversations were actually high-intent
- Tight timeline tied directly to the investment round

Our goal was to design and run a focused outbound execution system that:

What We Did
We built and executed a multi-campaign outbound system designed around conversation quality and follow-through.
1. Targeting & List Strategy
We built highly targeted outreach lists using verified data sources, focusing exclusively on relevant decision-makers aligned with the client’s investment goals.
No broad scraping.
No generic investor lists.
Only profiles with a clear reason to engage.
2. Deliverability & Campaign Setup
Before launch, we configured a high-deliverability sending environment to ensure messages reached inboxes consistently.
This allowed campaigns to scale without harming sender reputation or engagement rates during a sensitive fundraising window.
3. Conversation-First Outreach Campaigns
We deployed three parallel outbound campaigns using Lemlist, each designed to test slight variations in approach while keeping the same core objective: start meaningful conversations.
Key characteristics:
- Short, direct, dialogue-driven messaging
- No hard CTAs or hard meeting pushes upfront
- Focus on relevance and context rather than persuasion
The goal was to invite conversation, not force a calendar link.
4. Manual Reply Qualification & Scheduling
At the time of execution, Lemlist did not support tracking “Interested” status within campaigns.
Rather than rely on incomplete dashboards, we implemented manual reply handling and qualification:
- Every reply was reviewed
- High-intent responses were identified and prioritized
- Conversations were moved to scheduling only when fit was confirmed
- Meetings were logged via CRM and calendar systems
This ensured no serious opportunity slipped through automation gaps.
The Results
Once qualified and routed correctly, outbound activity translated into real outcomes:
- 25 qualified meetings booked directly from outbound conversations
- Meetings involved relevant investors and strategic stakeholders
- Conversations contributed directly to fundraising momentum
- $1,000,000 investment round secured, supported by campaign-sourced meetings
Even without automated “Interested” tracking, the system delivered what mattered: high-intent conversations and booked meetings at the right moment.
